VCF Feminino have signed Macarena Portales on a two-season deal, through to June 30th, 2024.
The 23-year-old striker, born in Madrid, arrives from Inter Milan, where she played last season in what was her first time away from Spanish football.
The striker went to Italy off the back of a two-year spell at Madrid CFF, for whom she played 49 games, scored 3 goals and provided 4 assists. Previously, she represented Sevilla FC in the 2018/19 season, Zaragoza CFF in 2017/18 and Fundación Albacete in 2016/17.

Portales is a versatile attacker with notable technique, speed, ball control and finishing ability. She has been part of the Spanish national team, with a first call-up in 2013 and regular appearances at youth level.
Macarena Portales: “I think that Valencia CF are a club that are growing, and what I would like is to grow alongside the team. I hope to perform at my best. It's exciting, it's comforting, it's everything. I am very happy to be here."
